Pay: $20–$33/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Sign-on bonus:
Employment: Full-time
Overtime: Possible; schedule may fluctuate based on production needs.

Job Description

The Welder supports aerospace manufacturing operations and performs TIG welding, including welding inside an inert chamber . The position requires producing consistent, high-quality welds while following manufacturing specifications, safety procedures, and quality requirements.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Perform TIG welding, including welding in an inert chamber.
• Weld parts according to manufacturing specifications.
• Read and understand blueprints and work instructions.
• Prepare parts using grit blasting and other surface-preparation methods.
• Use standard welding and shop materials correctly.
• Inspect completed work using handheld measuring tools.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow health, safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Support continuous-improvement/lean initiatives.
• Maintain reliable attendance and assist with other shop duties as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous welding experience in a manufacturing environment .
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable using basic measuring tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability and willingness to pass job-related testing.
• Ability to become certified to AWS D17.1 .
• Must pass applicable vision testing, if required.
