Careers Aviation Site Civil EngineeringIntern Frisco, Texas Garver's experienced Aviation Team in the Frisco, TX office is seeking a motivated civil engineering student to join our team to train and mentor as an Aviation Site Civil Engineering Intern. Internship Description: Work alongside and be mentored by experienced aviation design professionals and industry leaders. Receive training from senior engineers in various elements of private development on and adjacent to airport environments providing design and construction oversight for general aviation and commercial service airports. Visit Garver’s Aviation project sites, such as airport hangars and other airport support facilities. Gain experience in the competitive consulting engineering industry by assisting with planned development, project administration, and submitting proposals. Requirements: Must be pursuing a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program Strong interest in pursuing civil engineering in the aviation private development industry. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred skills: Experience with AutoCAD or Civil3D Work Environment This is an in-office position; duties and responsibilities are generally performed in an office setting.
