Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Gather pertinent data from chart and other caregivers; discuss with physician as necessary
• Independently assess all patient types as assigned
• Demonstrate ability to recognize additional needs during evaluation; exercise good judgment in decision-making
• Interpret results and formulate relevant, measurable, realistic, and attainable goals
• Reassess patient progress regularly per department and regulatory policy
• Identify appropriate equipment, discuss with patient and family, and make recommendations

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred; Bachelor's degree required
• Current LPT License in Texas (or compact) required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Ability to work 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for early Friday close
• Experience in outpatient settings, particularly with ortho and neuro patients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
