Overview Advanced Dental Care of Mount Dora is looking for a full-time Dental Hygienist in Mount Dora, Florida to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. Position Overview Our team works closely together in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced technology such as Overjet, a CBCT scanner, hygiene lasers, and Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT). Educate patients about effective oral hygiene practices, empowering them to maintain optimal dental health. Proficiently capture and develop X-rays as required to support accurate diagnoses. Skillfully administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants to enhance patients' dental well-being. Maintain a steadfast commitment to upholding the highest levels of patient care and overall satisfaction. Adhere rigorously to established dental office protocols and uphold our uncompromising standards. Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, improve the oral health of patients. Under limited supervision, provide oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with state guidelines. Conduct patient screening, medical history, and dental charting. Apply fluoride and protective sealants; remove calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line. Provide nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Active dental hygiene license for the state in which you are licensed, required. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
