QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Assembler at a company in Cypress, TX (77433). This is a potential for hire position.

The Assembler is responsible for assembling and preparing oilfield completion tools (including frac plugs and related downhole equipment) to meet company quality and performance standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to safety and production procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Apply now!

Assembler Responsibilities:
- Assemble completion tools, components, and subassemblies according to engineering drawings and work instructions
- Inspect parts and materials prior to assembly to ensure quality standards are met
- Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
- Maintain accurate production and assembly records
- Identify and report defects, non-conformances, or process issues
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Support inventory control by tracking materials and components used
- Assist with packaging and preparing tools for shipment

Requirements for Assembler:
- 1+ years of assembly, manufacturing, or oilfield-related experience preferred
- Experience working with composite materials (composite frac plugs or similar components strongly preferred)
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read instructions and diagrams
- Ability to use measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable work ethic and punctuality
- Experience in oilfield services or completion tools manufacturing is a plus
- Hands-on experience assembling composite components (carbon fiber, fiberglass, or similar materials highly desirable) preferred
- Familiarity with frac plugs, wireline equipment, or downhole tools preferred
- Forklift certification is a plus
