Legal Manager

Robert Half

We are partnering with a growing residential homebuilder seeking a Manager of Legal Administration to oversee legal agreements, lot closings, and HOA/CCR setup. This role works closely with land development leadership to manage contracts, closings, and reporting while supporting efficient, compliant operations.

Responsibilities

Manage and audit legal documents (purchase agreements, building contracts, vendor agreements)
Ensure documents reflect current legal standards; coordinate with outside counsel
Oversee lot closings including ALTA review, title coordination, and document tracking
Maintain title company relationships and serve as authorized signer as needed
Track lot takedowns and report against community commitments
Coordinate CCRs, HOA formation, bylaws, and amendments
Administer Architectural Review Board (ARB) processes
Support HOA budgets, meetings, and property management coordination
Own weekly takedown reports and support land development leadership
Handle zoning applications and support platting/PUD documentation
Assist with planning, reporting, and potential team oversight

Qualifications

Paralegal experience required
Residential homebuilding or real estate experience preferred
Strong knowledge of closings, contracts, and ALTA/title review
Highly organized with strong communication skills
Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel
Valid driver’s license required
