We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Box Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to various destinations, ensuring timely and intact delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks to transport goods to designated locations safely and on schedule
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring high standards of care to prevent damage
- Plan routes and follow maps or GPS navigation for efficient deliveries
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and maintenance standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status
- Comply with all applicable traffic laws and company policies
- Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly
