Production Team Leader

To accomplish our goals, we hire quality team members, properly train them, and continuously communicate with them through our Total Quality Management process. Job Skills / Requirements Summary: Responsible for leading and directing Team Members in production, quality, and safety while promoting accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement Duties / Responsibilities: Ensure timely response to customer needs and requests Evaluate daily quality of services against customer specifications and expectations Ensure quality standards are met within assigned processes Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment Ensure standardized work is followed during training and certification processes Complete daily administrative tasks accurately and timely Communicate effectively with Group Leads, Team Leads, and team members across shifts Manage day-to-day operations and execute directives Provide leadership, coaching, and resolve employee concerns professionally Support performance management, including feedback and discipline in accordance with company policy Train, assign, and direct work while supporting employee development Utilize basic Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) Perform other duties as assigned LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and procedures, and to write routine reports and correspondence MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers and standard units of measure REASONING ABILITY: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and solve routine problems in standardized situations PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work requires standing and walking for extended periods, with occasional lifting up to 20 pounds. Other physical activities may include reaching, bending, and climbing WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment at TMMI (Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana), where employees may be exposed to moving equipment, automated machinery, and varying noise levels while adhering to established safety standards Education Requirements (All) High School Diploma or GED required. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
