About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified Tele / PCU / Stepdown RN in Nashua, New Hampshire, 03060!

Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a 13-week day shift contract assignment. The RN will provide direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process, including comprehensive patient assessments, reviewing medical history, monitoring vital signs, interpreting laboratory and diagnostic results, developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, administering medications and treatments, monitoring cardiac rhythms, and coordinating care to promote positive patient outcomes. The position requires caring for adult Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and PCU patients while maintaining accurate documentation in the EPIC electronic medical record.

• Minimum 3 years of recent nursing experience
• Strong Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience required
• Experience caring for PCU/step-down patients preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
• Excellent patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work 3 x 12-hour day shifts
• Holiday availability required
• No on-call responsibilities
