Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $1,770 a week in all, a taxable rate of $16.50 an hour plus $1,110.20 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for outpatient services in a critical access facility. The position involves providing outpatient rehabilitation therapy, with flexibility in shift schedules, working days from 6:45 AM to 5:00 PM, and no weekend commitments. The role requires at least one year of experience and open to first-time professionals.

Job Details

• Position/Specialty: Physical Therapist (Home Health)
• Shift: 4x10 (0645-1700), with flexibility for 8 or 10-hour shifts; no weekends
• Schedule: 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 11/16/2026
• End Date: 02/15/2027
• Required Qualifications: BLS certification; at least 1 year of experience; valid Illinois license; no minimum experience requirement beyond that
• Preferred Qualifications: Community hospital experience, experience with charting systems such as Cerner, previous outpatient or home health experience, and familiarity with interdisciplinary support
• Additional Information:
• Experience with adaptive devices, gait training, post-operative rehabilitation, and patient education preferred
• Candidate must complete pre-start modules, including mandatory Day 1 virtual orientation
• Floating may be required within the hospital or to nearby facilities, with no geographic restrictions applied to local candidates
• Candidates must have active licensure at the time of submission and disclose any background check findings for review
• Candidate must be prepared to work at least two of the three major holidays during the assignment
