This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.The Supplier Management Team Lead’s (SMTL) primary responsibilities are to establish and maintain all of the Guidance Computer Subsystem’s subcontract operations to execute the management of cost, schedule, and technical performance of a subcontract. The particular subcontract of interest involves the fabrication, assembly and test of the Guidance Computer Subsystem, including multiple circuit card assemblies (CCA) into the larger configured item subsystem. Essential functions include, but are not limited to:• Enforcement of subcontractor execution of a Statement of Work (SOW) and support of contract modifications as necessary• Planning, risk management, and project performance management addressing cost, schedule and technical quality for related Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) elements• Responsible to manage subcontractor’s performance. Helps to resolve technical and operational problems. Typically accomplishes results through lower level(s) of technical advisement, subject matter experts (SMEs), or focused oversight of subcontractor• Enforcement of subcontractor execution of a Statement of Work (SOW) and support of contract modifications as necessary• Planning, risk management, and project performance management addressing cost, schedule and technical quality for related Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) elements• Responsible to manage subcontractor’s performance. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.You’ll Bring These Qualifications:Bachelors degree with 8 years of experience or Masters degree and 6 years of experience, or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of degreeActive Secret clearance investigated within the last 6 years1 year of experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and application or as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)2 years of Experience working with a subcontractor in at least a technical advisory rolePreferred QualificationsCurrent or active Top Secret, SCI, and/or Special Access clearanceMBAKnowledge of configuration management best practices, scheduling, and cost estimationAbility to deal with ambiguity and to meet program commitments in a highly concurrent engineering environmentAbility to maneuver effectively through political situations and to anticipate roadblocksExperience managing a multi-disciplinary teamExperience with high-reliability onboard computers, avionics, or other electronic systemsExperience leading Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) teamsExperience on ICBM or missile programsExperience leading hardware procurement/supply chain operationsExperience overseeing subcontracts for performance and accountabilityExperience applying Agile and/or MBE to a projectStrong leadership qualities, as well as strong verbal and written communication skillsPrior experience in a Management role, such as Section Manager or IPT Lead3 years of experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)Primary Level Salary Range: $166,700.00 - $250,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
