Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Location: Holyoke, MA

Pay Rate: Up to $72/hour, depending on experience

Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Contract Length: 39 Weeks

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Amergis is partnering with a school district in Holyoke, MA, seeking three Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support behavioral programming across the district. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with school teams while supporting students through evidence-based behavioral interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)

• Develop and oversee Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)

• Provide behavioral consultation and direct support within assigned schools

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams

• Coach and support staff in implementing behavior interventions

• Maintain behavioral data, documentation, and progress reports

• Travel between school sites as needed based on caseload distribution

Caseload

• Approximately 25-30 students

• Consistent caseloads across all BCBA positions

• May require support across up to three school buildings

Schedule

• Monday-Friday

• 35 hours per week

• Flexible school-based schedule

• Start times range from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM

• End times range from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM

Qualifications

Required:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification

• Master's degree

Preferred:

• 1+ year of school-based BCBA experience

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst – ES provides consultation, training, conducts behavioral evaluations and develops/implements behavior intervention plans for individuals with academic and behavioral deficits. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst – ES acts as a clinical teacher who educates, observes, assesses, and supervises educational activities and behavioral service delivery in the school setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

• Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching, psychology or related field

• Preferred experience providing behavior analytic programs and services in schools

• One (1) year minimum pediatric experience preferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
