Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory assessments across various specialties, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established guidelines.
• Ensure the accuracy of results while performing troubleshooting on errors and conducting regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Participate in specimen collection and prepare samples for subsequent examination as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, assist in training new colleagues or students, and help maintain high lab quality standards.
• Foster a safe and sterile work environment, adhering to all regulatory and accreditation protocols.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree in allied health, in preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain up-to-date certification for the duration of your employment.
