Ready to roll with us? Join the WM (formerly Waste Management) team today. Driver Helper teams with Route Driver and assists in the collection of waste and/or recyclable material. Essential duties and responsibilities include working in accordance with WM safety and life critical rules, OSHA requirements, and all local, state, and federal laws. You will manually or mechanically load and empty residential and/or commercial containers into the truck, operate hoisting devices to lift and empty bins or containers into the truck hopper, assist driver with all backing maneuvers while on route, and notify Operations Manager of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage.

Qualifications include no educational requirement, no work experience required, being at least 18 years of age, and legally eligible to work in the United States.

Physical requirements include lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, feeling, standing, walking, handling, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, and eye/hand/foot coordination.

This role is designated as safety sensitive and will require the successful candidate to strictly comply with all safety rules and protocols. As part of the ongoing employment requirements, the successful candidate may be subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with government regulations and company policies.
