You will be responsible for strengthening and optimizing core accounting workflows while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency across close processes and financial reporting. You will collaborate closely with finance, engineering, and cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve data-driven decision-making. This is a highly impactful role for someone who enjoys combining accounting expertise with modern financial technology. \n Accountabilities: Own and manage the end-to-end endorsements process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness across accounting operations. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting support. Perform detailed account reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues in a timely and structured manner. Drive accounting process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and accuracy. Leverage AI tools and financial technologies (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to streamline workflows, reporting, and data analysis. Act as a key liaison for fintech systems, supporting integrations, optimization, and ongoing platform improvements. Build and maintain financial reports and dashboards using systems such as NetSuite and related accounting tools. Support audit processes by preparing schedules, gathering documentation, and responding to auditor requests. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial operations and adherence to deadlines and controls. Assist in expense management, cash operations, accruals, invoicing, and broader accounting initiatives as needed. Requirements: 8+ years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline required; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Big 4 or similar public accounting experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of US GAAP and core accounting principles. Experience working with both US and international financial environments. Proficiency in accounting systems such as NetSuite and/or Sage Intacct, including reporting and navigation. Familiarity with close management tools (e.g., FloQast) and expense platforms (e.g., Ramp) is a plus. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail, accuracy, and structured problem-solving. Proven experience in process improvement, automation, and operational optimization initiatives. Comfort using AI tools and modern technologies to enhance productivity and financial workflows. Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Highly organized self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong adaptability, curiosity, and interest in systems, tools, and operational efficiency.
