About the Position

Job Title: MedSurg/Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of travel experience required License: SC license or Compact license required prior to start Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Med/Surg experience required Telemetry experience preferred Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required Description: Position is for a MedSurg/Tele RN. The shift is four 12-hour nights from 7 PM to 7 AM. Patient ratios are 1:6 to 1:7. Every other weekend commitment is required. Floating to like units with similar patient populations may be necessary. The role requires a minimum of two years of travel nursing experience. Candidates must have a valid SC RN license or a Compact RN license prior to starting. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are mandatory. All required modules must be completed prior to the start date. Attendance at staff meetings is mandatory. Candidates should be aware that they may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season. Discrimination based on gender, race, or color is prohibited.
