Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology

Job Details:
• Provide inpatient neonatal care with 5-8 patient encounters per shift
• Work schedule includes hospital onsite coverage and beeper call responsibilities
• Shifts run 7am-7am at primary location with potential 5am-5am shifts at secondary facility
• Partial in-house coverage for 6-8 hours daily (7am-1pm or 7am-3pm) followed by beeper call
• Must remain within 30 minutes of hospital during call periods
• Perform newborn resuscitation (1-3 per week) and rounding duties
• Required skills include intubation of newborns, UVC placement, needle pneumothorax decompression, and x-ray interpretation
• Preferred skills include lumbar puncture, EKG interpretation, and circumcision procedures
• Must maintain active Oregon license with DEA certification
• Board certification required with BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
• Clean credentialing file required for expedited/temp privileges
• Minimum 2 years of case logs required
• Schedule flexibility available with typically 10 shifts per month ongoing
• Cannot work other sites while scheduled at this facility
• 30-day credentialing timeframe
