Inventory Technician (2nd Shift)

Inventory Distribution Technician‑Consolidator Location: St. Peters, MO This is a full‑time, direct‑hire position with Trane Technologies (not a temporary assignment). The role is designated as Safety Sensitive and will report directly to the Distribution Inventory Manager. It may require periodic weekend or evening work (2nd shift, 2:30–11:00pEST). Responsibilities Safely operate PIV equipment, including forklifts, clamp trucks, reach trucks, and order pickers, to load, unload, sort, stack, and stage product. Locate and pick material into/out of warehouse racks and between locations. Ensure all equipment in use has been inspected and is in safe operating condition. Work with local and regional freight companies. Stock and arrange product to maintain inventory accuracy. Enter inventory data into software systems, verifying part numbers, quantities, and other fields. Resolve discrepancies as necessary. Ensure pallets are stable, have appropriate height, and are free of damage. Prioritize the timely delivery or removal of designated materials to meet customer needs. Perform training, housekeeping, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma/GED not required. Warehouse and forklift experience preferred. Able to lift 50lbs. Valid driver’s license. Compensation Hourly base pay range: $22.69per hour. The actual compensation may vary based on seniority, experience, location, and other factors.
