We need squad members who are ready to roll up their sleeves and bring the energy when it matters most—Friday through Sunday. Smalls Sliders was founded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and is owned by Pro‑Football Hall‑of‑Famer Drew Brees and Brandon Landry, CEO of Walk‑On's Sports Bistreaux. 10 Point Capital also joined as owners in mid‑2022, recognizing Smalls’ potential to become a dominant (and BIG) national brand. Smalls Sliders is an innovative restaurant focused exclusively on quality cheeseburger sliders, with every meal cooked to order. With a fanatical guest following, Smalls Sliders delivers both drive‑thru and popular walk‑up experiences from a unique small footprint container design, allowing real estate flexibility and rapid construction of new restaurants. Smalls Sliders opened its first restaurant in 2019 and has since grown and has over 300 locations already in the development pipeline. Our differentiated, simplified menu and strong unit economics have already garnered industry recognition, with QSR magazine featuring the brand in their "40/40 List for 2022: America’s Hottest Startup Fast Casuals." Shift Lead A shift lead is in charge of providing direct supervision to the squad independently along with as part of the supervisory team at Smalls. Their duties include covering for employee absences, managing cash, deploying the squad and resolving problems that occur during their shift. Job Duties Deploying squad members based on pre‑determined shift schedules for squad members Monitoring attendance and tardiness during shift Assigning duties to specific employees based on role and skills Supervising employees and assisting with tasks as necessary Assist with training new and current squad members on tasks Handling or escalating customer issues and managing conflicts Adhering to company policies and health, safety and employment standards Balancing cash drawers and preparing cash deposits Other duties as assigned Benefits and Perks Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance options Retirement plan Paid time off (PTO) Training and development opportunities Opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing industry Qualifications Experience running shifts in a fast paced environment Ability to communicate duties and expectations effectively Guest concern resolution experience a plus Experience training a plus Cash handling/management skills Acquire or already have a Manager food safety card within 30 days of employment Must be over the age of 18 We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
