Occupational Therapist (OT) PRN

Title: Occupational Therapist (OT) Job Type: PRN Resolute Rehabilitation at Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals Round Rock is a 12‑bed inpatient rehabilitation unit located at 4681 College Park Drive in Round Rock, Texas. It is designed to help patients recover from serious illness, injury, or surgery—especially those transitioning from intensive care. Specialized Rehab Services: Intensive therapy for conditions such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic trauma, neurological disorders, amputation, and other complex conditions. Therapy Intensity: Patients typically receive 15 hours of therapy per week under the guidance of a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and therapists. Modern Facility: The unit is equipped with advanced rehab equipment and is structured for a focused, patient‑centered environment. How You’ll Contribute The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients and develops treatment plans that promote functional independence in daily activities. Essential Functions Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance patients’ daily living skills. Document treatment sessions and patient progress accurately and timely. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and families on care planning. Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment. Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Additional Information Strong interpersonal and documentation skills required. Familiarity with rehab documentation systems preferred. Qualifications and Requirements Education: Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program. Experience: Experience in inpatient rehab preferred.
