Job Title: Sales Specialist

We are seeking a driven and outgoing professional to help grow a local partner network within designated communities. This role combines relationship building, business development, and community engagement. You'll work closely with local businesses, manage leads through Salesforce, and support recruitment events throughout the region.

• Visit and engage prospective businesses within a designated territory.
• Introduce partnership opportunities and qualify interested organizations.
• Guide partners through the onboarding and application process.
• Maintain accurate records and activity tracking in Salesforce.
• Assist with community events, networking opportunities, and local outreach initiatives.
• Build relationships with community organizations and referral sources.
• Provide excellent customer service and ongoing support throughout the process.
• Travel regularly within a regional territory.

• 1+ year of sales, customer service, recruiting, or account management experience.
• Comfortable with in-person outreach and relationship building.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally.

• Experience with field sales or business development is a plus.

Compensation: Base pay plus commission opportunities.

Schedule: Full-time, primarily daytime hours with local travel required.

Employment Type: Contract position with potential for long-term extension based on business needs and performance.

Work Environment

This is a field-based and remote role with a strong focus on in-person outreach and community engagement. You will work in the field approximately four days per week, traveling within a roughly two-hour driving radius to visit prospective businesses and attend recruitment events. Fridays serve as an administrative day, typically spent working remotely to update Salesforce, manage pipelines, import Excel data, and prepare for the upcoming week. The role relies heavily on technology, including Salesforce as the primary CRM platform and other digital tools for communication and data management. Travel mileage is reimbursed, and a monthly phone expense stipend is provided to support field work. The environment emphasizes autonomy, community partnership building, and collaboration with a Field Manager and other local contractors in a dynamic, growth-oriented program.

This is a Contract position based out of Fargo, ND.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
