Retail Production Worker - Full TimeOur mission is to Change Lives through the Power of Work!Benefits:Store discountWork for an incredible missionWeekly payCasual dressCollaborative work cultureCareer developmentPaid time off & paid holidaysPrimary Responsibilities:Responsible for the sorting and pricing of donated goods and materials.Job Functions:Textiles and Hardlines ProcessingFollow established sorting and pricing guidelinesRecognize name brand, vintage, and collectible itemsSize and hang textilesDifferentiate materials and place in proper containers, z-racks, etc.Donation AttendantReceive donated itemsSort donations by categoryMaterial HandlingOperate pump cart and stacker to move containers, totes, etc.Assemble / Disassemble containers, gaylords, kit binsMake proper use of available space and materialsOperate CompactorRecognize and follow proper material contentKnow the mechanical operation of the compactorUnderstand and demonstrate safe operationPhysical Requirements:Medium work, occasionally exerting up to 50 pounds of force and/or up to 25 pounds of lifting, frequent lifting up to 10 pounds, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, climbing, reaching, handling, hearing, talking, seeing and repetitive movement.Work Conditions:Inside generally 100%, however, may include outside work on occasion.Limited emotional effort. Work environment routine with periods of isolated high stress. Short deadlines requiring some overtime.Education:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Experience:Minimum of one (1) year experience in retail operations preferred.Core Competencies:Must be able to provide positive internal and external customer relations and to easily interact and work with individuals referred for training.Demonstrate ability to think independently in supervisor's absence.Meet production goals.Demonstrate quality control and accuracy with sorting and pricing guidelines.Kaizen principles: follow 6S Checklist, procedures, signage, and layout.Other Requirements:Availability to work after-hours for special projectsAvailability to work weekends and some holidays
