About the job Medical Director
Medical Director - Veterinary Medicine
- Support clinicians in medical excellence, professional growth, and administrative development
- Lead and develop the hospital team through meetings, performance reviews, and compliance oversight
- Partner with regional and hospital leadership on strategic planning, operational compliance, and long-term growth
- Foster a culture of high-quality medicine, collaboration, and financial sustainability
- Digital radiography
- In-house laboratory and pharmacy
- Ultrasound
- Advanced anesthesia monitoring and pain management
- Underwater treadmill and rehabilitation therapy
- Acupuncture, chiropractic care, and herbal/nutritional therapies
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Preferred 5+ years of clinical experience
- Proven leadership with strong emotional intelligence
- Commitment to ethical practice and high medical standards
- Ability to delegate effectively and drive team performance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
