Job Details

• Position: General Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist
• Location: Fort Worth, Texas
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $9,980 - $10,520
• Schedule: 5x12-hour shifts weekly, with 4x12-hour shifts considered if needed
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Call: No call required
• Weekend Coverage: No weekend coverage required
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Up to 13 weeks
• EMR: Epic
• Case Load: Orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, spine, urology, GI, minor vascular, breast surgery, and EP cases

Job Requirements

• Active Texas medical license required
• Board certification required
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Ability to work independently with possible care team support
• Experience performing normal blocks and spinals
• Comfortable managing a broad adult surgical case mix
• At least 1 year of anesthesiology experience preferred
• Must be comfortable with EP and spine cases
• No pediatric, cranial, or cardiac cases

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective anesthesia care for a variety of adult surgical procedures
• Administer anesthesia independently and collaborate with the care team as needed
• Perform normal blocks and spinals as part of routine clinical practice
• Manage perioperative anesthesia responsibilities across multiple surgical specialties
• Maintain clear documentation and communication within the Epic EMR system
• Deliver patient-focused care while supporting smooth daily workflow in the operating room
