Job Details We seek a highly motivated, experienced Associate Attorney specializing in insurance defense to join our legal team. Responsibilities include handling insurance defense matters, conducting legal research, developing defense strategies, drafting legal documents, advising clients on liability, collaborating with staff, following legal trends, and upholding professionalism. Responsibilities Represent clients in insurance defense matters, including personal injury, property damage, and wrongful death claims. Conduct thorough legal research to support defense strategies. Develop and present defense strategies in court or during negotiations. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents (pleadings, motions, discovery requests). Advise clients on legal liability issues and risk management. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to manage cases efficiently. Stay updated with legal trends and developments in insurance defense. Maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar in good standing. Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an attorney focusing on insurance defense. Experience handling cases involving wrongful death. Strong legal research skills and ability to apply legal principles to complex facts. Solid understanding of legal liability issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and persuasive arguments. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of favorable results. High level of professionalism and adherence to legal and ethical standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
