Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to residents, focusing on activities of daily living, mobility, and functional independence
- Assess residents and develop individualized treatment plans; implement and adjust therapies based on progress
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including nursing, therapy, and social services to coordinate resident care
- Monitor patient safety, progress, and response to therapy; adjust plans as needed
- Maintain compliance with infection control, privacy (HIPAA), and facility policies; participate in care planning meetings as required

Requirements
- Current Michigan licensure/certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or eligibility
- Demonstrated ability to work in a long-term care setting with geriatric residents
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Availability for day shift, 8x4 schedule, with 32 guaranteed hours per week
- Ability to maintain professional standards and documentation in a licensed care environment
