Summary
- Full-time 1st shift opportunity in a moving and warehouse environment
- Responsible for safely driving a crew using a box truck or similar vehicle
- Move and transport furniture and merchandise for residential and commercial customers
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks using pallet jacks and other provided equipment
- Learn proper techniques for lifting, handling, and covering furniture and merchandise
- Fast-paced, physical role requiring attention to safety and care when handling items
Responsibilities
- Safely drive a box truck or similar truck to transport furniture and merchandise
- Transport and move furniture and merchandise for residential and commercial customers
- Safely load and unload trucks using pallet jacks and other provided equipment
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Properly lift, handle, and cover furniture and merchandise to prevent damage
- Follow all safety procedures and safe driving practices
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and truck
- Work cooperatively with crew members to complete moving assignments efficiently
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid Operators driver's license and ability to safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced moving and warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail when handling furniture and merchandise
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable and professional with a strong work ethic
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
