Chemical Engineer (Korean Bilingual Preferred)\n\nTimpl has partnered with a leading global manufacturer of innovative building\nand industrial materials, specializing in surfaces, flooring, and automotive\ncomponents. And we are looking for a Chemical Engineer.\n\nQualifications\n\nEducation & Experience\n * Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer\n Science, or related field (Master's preferred for senior roles)\n * Some experience in a manufacturing environment; experience with polymer\n chemistry / coatings / surface materials is highly desirable\n * Experience with laboratory scale testing and analysis; scaling lab data to\n production is a plus\n\n\nSkills & Knowledge\n * Solid grounding in general chemistry, polymer chemistry, mechanical/materials\n testing\n * Proficiency with lab equipment and test standards relevant to product line\n (e.g. tensile/impact tests, hardness, adhesion, abrasion, optical properties,\n etc.)\n * Data analysis skills - able to interpret test results, use statistical tools,\n generate reports\n * Familiarity with manufacturing systems, process control, yield and quality\n metrics\n * Experience with SAP (or equivalent ERP), MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word)\n * Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Korean bilingual\n preferred to facilitate communication with headquarters / suppliers\n\n\nOther Attributes\n * Strong problem?solving mindset, attention to detail\n * Ability to work cross?functionally, collaborate with \n production/quality/supply chain\n * Self?motivated, proactive, able to manage multiple tasks/priorities\n * Willingness to travel locally or regionally as needed (supplier visits, other\n plant locations)\n\n\nPhysical Requirements & Working Conditions\n * Majority of time spent in lab or office; frequent visits to manufacturing\n floor\n * Must be able to lift/move materials or test samples up to ~25-50 lbs\n occasionally\n * Safe handling of chemicals; adherence to safety protocols, use of PPE\n * Occasional travel (\u003c10%)
