Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform a driving post with routine patrols, support access activities, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $20.02 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense-related location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help identify and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and document arrivals, departures, and other security-related events in accordance with site policies.
• Prepare clear reports on incidents, patrol observations, and/or policy violations, and support Allied Universal and site leadership with follow-up information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
