Overview Join GardaWorld Security Services as a Concierge Security Officer on the Events Team. GardaWorld Security Services is Now Hiring a Concierge Security Officer! Location and Availability Location: Sunnyvale (Main Campus), Mountain View, and San Jose, CA Schedule: 8 - 12 hours per shift; Flexible and available to work any day of the week and any shift Compensation: $23 per hour Benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions; paid holidays; disability coverage; and life insurance Uniform provided at no cost Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Responsibilities of a Concierge Security Guard Must be articulate and professional when interacting with guests, the events team (event owners, coordinators), and security staff Strong interpersonal skills; this is a guest services type role Manage access control Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams Answer questions in person or by phone Write incident reports and communicate security concerns Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property Escalate any incident appropriately via radio or Pixel to GSOC (Global Security Ops Center) or on-site security Read maps to help direct guests throughout the campus Qualifications for Concierge Security Guard Be authorized to work in the U.S. Provide documentation of HS Diploma or GED State security license and additional BSIS 32-hour trainings (additional trainings can be obtained during the hiring process) Be at least 21 years of age Valid California driver license and clean driving record 6 months security experience preferred Be able to pass an extensive screening process Exceptional customer service skills Proficient in basic phone and computer skills Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus Equal Employment Opportunity In the United States, GardaWorld Security remains the only guarding security company to be Certified by Great Place to Work.
