Our organization is in search of a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Thoracic Surgeon to join our esteemed thoracic surgery program located in Everett, Washington.

This is a remarkable chance to be part of one of the leading multidisciplinary programs in the Pacific Northwest. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a growing team of medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and interventional pulmonologists, as well as established gastroenterologists, radiologists, pathologists, and advanced practice clinicians, all committed to providing outstanding, patient-focused care.

The selected individual will deliver comprehensive surgical treatment for patients with both benign and malignant conditions, including lung cancer, esophageal cancer, mediastinal tumors, chest wall tumors, benign foregut disorders (such as hiatal hernias, GERD, and achalasia), and other intricate thoracic diseases. This role provides access to cutting-edge minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical technologies, a strong clinical trials framework, and the chance to engage in program development, quality initiatives, education, and research within our network at the Everett campus.

• Annual compensation ranging from $610,866 to $762,516

• Conduct thorough surgical evaluations and management for patients with thoracic conditions
• Perform minimally invasive, robotic-assisted, and open thoracic surgical procedures
• Engage in multidisciplinary tumor boards and complex GI planning meetings
• Work closely with colleagues in medical oncology, radiation oncology, pulmonary medicine, gastroenterology, pathology, and radiology
• Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based clinical pathways within the Thoracic Surgery Division
• Participate in the education and mentorship of trainees, advanced practice clinicians, medical students, and other healthcare professionals as appropriate
• Contribute to clinical research and programmatic expansion within our Cancer and Digestive Health Institutes
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care aligned with our mission and values

• Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency program
• Completion of an accredited Thoracic Surgery or Cardiothoracic Surgery fellowship
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Thoracic Surgery
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Washington State
• Eligibility for federal DEA registration

• At least 5 years of practice experience
• Experience in minimally invasive and robotic thoracic surgery
• Interest in clinical trials and translational research
• Demonstrated commitment to multidisciplinary care
• Experience with benign and malignant esophageal conditions
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to collaborative practice
