Maintenance Mechanic AMadden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic A for a manufacturing facility in Portland, OR. This role supports maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and production equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with mechanical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Pay & Schedule:Pay: $37.87/hourShift: Overnight, 3-4-4-3 schedulePosition Type: Direct HireKey Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systemsMaintain and repair equipment such as conveyors, bucket elevators, gears, chains, belts, and pumpsPerform preventative maintenance on production equipmentRead and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawingsSupport equipment uptime through timely repairs and maintenance planningOperate equipment such as boom lifts and scissor lifts as neededFollow all safety procedures and PPE requirementsRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or GED4+ years of maintenance experience, including at least 3 years in a manufacturing environmentStrong mechanical troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawingsExperience working in indoor and outdoor environments, including non-climate-controlled conditionsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and meet deadlinesAbility to distinguish colors and depth for safe equipment operationPreferred Qualifications:Welding and fabrication experience for equipment repairExperience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems in a manufacturing settingExperience operating boom lifts and scissor liftsBenefits:MedicalDentalPaid Time OffUnion (Steel Workers)Direct HireWork Environment:This role operates in a manufacturing environment with both indoor and outdoor work areas.
