Bjrk Cafe & Bistro New York, NY is looking for one porter/dishwasher to join our team. We are located at 58 Park Avenue, NY, NY 10016. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and engaged.
Responsibilities
- Follows daily cleaning list as assigned by Manager
- Performs basic organizing and cleaning requirements around the kitchen
- Restocks items that were depleted during the shift
- Manages proper storing temperatures according to DOH regulations
- Follows proper cleaning procedures according to DOH regulations
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a dishwasher- porter
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
- Multi-tasking abilities
- High integrity with a great attendance record
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment with co-worker and guests
