What You'll Do
In this role, you'll perform complex testing and analysis of biological specimens, including blood, tissue, and body fluids, using state-of-the-art laboratory techniques. You'll operate, maintain, and troubleshoot sophisticated laboratory equipment to ensure precision and accuracy. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you interpret test results and collaborate with healthcare providers to guide patient diagnosis and treatment plans. You'll uphold stringent quality standards by conducting routine audits and maintaining compliance with CLIA, CAP, and other regulatory requirements. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to mentor and supervise laboratory technicians, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS-ASCP), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or equivalent (e.g., AMT) is required. New graduates eligible for certification are encouraged to apply! Ideal candidates will have in-depth knowledge of clinical laboratory procedures, instrumentation, and safety protocols, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, proficiency in laboratory information systems (LIS) and data entry, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and quality leadership skills.
