Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

Travel RN – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule: Every other weekend, with a total of 6 weekend shifts over a 6-week schedule. Orientation lasts 40 hours. Holiday commitment includes working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.

Assignment Details: This position requires a minimum of 48 hours per week. On-call duties may be required on occasion if census is low.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid compact license at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience is required.
• At least one completed travel contract is necessary.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with Epic charting is essential.
• Skills required include telemetry monitoring, IV start and maintenance, phlebotomy, dysrhythmia recognition/management, and wound care.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for adults and geriatrics in a telemetry setting.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy.
• Perform assessments and monitor patients' conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Float to other acute care departments as needed.

Compliance / Notes

Compliance documentation is required along with two references from the last three years. Parking arrangements will be provided. Submissions are limited to one per facility at a time.
