Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans. Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications. Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments. Educates patients on surgical procedures. Records patients' medical information and vital signs.

RELOCATION: AMOUNT BASED ON DISTANCE OF MOVE We serve orthopedic patients(hips/knees), general surgery, geriatric and general med/surg patients. We are a 30 bed med/surg unit. We staff our patient 1:5 with Registered Nurses and 1:10 with PCTs during the dayshift and PCTs increase to 1:15 during the night. We have 100% private rooms with decentralized supplies on each wing. We staff a FT Charge Nurse without an assignment to assist staff with care. We have a FT Patent Care Liaison to assist with patient experience as well. Qualifications Grad of an Accredited Program Specialized field of study should be nursing. RN license. Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
