About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as a strategic leader, providing oversight of finance, payroll, and the revenue cycle. The CFO will be responsible for identifying and implementing opportunities to support the company's fiscal viability, working closely with the President/CEO and the Senior Management Team to align financial operations with strategic initiatives. Key responsibilities include leading all financial business operations, directing the management of accounting information systems, ensuring maximum third-party reimbursement, and overseeing the preparation and filing of financial statements. The CFO will also be involved in budget preparation, monitoring fund allocation, and managing financial affairs to protect the company's assets and ensure the proper utilization of resources. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 5-7 years' senior-level finance experience and 10-15 years' progressive management experience, particularly in a healthcare setting, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial policies, accounting systems, and cost controls, with a proven track record in executive finance. Essential skills include the ability to evaluate financial provisions of contracts, gather and report key operating statistics, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. The CFO will also be expected to demonstrate flexibility, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to represent the company in various professional settings.
