Picker - Day Shift

Job Summary The Picker position is repetitive and requires correctly picking parts and meeting time standards displayed on computer screens and/or paperwork. The individual must visually inspect components for quality defects, count correct amounts of components, complete paperwork and labels, read part numbers and location IDs from computer screens, and gather components from the warehouse. Teamwork and a strong working relationship with co‑workers and supervisors are essential. Employees must understand and abide by company policies including safety, anti‑harassment, anti‑discrimination, and timekeeping policies. Responsibilities Pick parts correctly in a warehouse work environment Use the computer system to read pick lists Identify various nuts, bolts, screws, washers, and components by part number Pick parts in the warehouse, identifying locations using the computer system Complete picking tasks accurately and efficiently Meet time standards given for each picking task Use computer to log entries Stand on feet all day and perform repetitive tasks Apply basic math skills Maintain attention to detail Use a hand truck and pallet jack as needed Communicate effectively with co‑workers and supervisors Qualifications 0–1 years of warehousing or picking experience; experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus Ability to lift 45 pounds and be on your feet for 4–8 hours per day Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally Strong attention to detail and ability to multi‑task Trustworthy, autonomous team player who is self‑motivated Excellent oral and written communication skills Basic mathematical skills Ability to operate pallet jacks or hand trucks to move materials Physical Demands Sitting Standing Walking Pushing/Pulling Climbing Squatting / Kneeling Bending / Stooping Twisting/Turning Handling / Grasping Reaching overhead Reaching outward Foot controls Lifting up to: 40 lbs Carrying up to: 40 lbs Benefits Employer‑paid Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance 2 weeks of PTO (up to 3 weeks with tenure) and seven paid holidays 401(k) with up to 4% employer match Additional paid parental leave beyond state/federal offerings Quarterly catered lunch events for all employees RAM Mounts product discounts Additional Information Position Status: Full Time Day Shift: 6:00AM to 2:30PM; Monday through FridayPosition Location: On‑SiteDrug screening will also be required (THC or Marijuana not screened during pre‑employment test). #J-18808-Ljbffr National Products, Inc.
