Inventory Specialist

Area of Focus:

As a highly valued member of the Dallas, TX Team, this position provides support to receiving, inventory control and logistics. Receive all incoming materials, perform inventory audits, and provide logistics support.

How you will impact Smurfit Westrock:

\u2022 Receives all inbound material daily.

\u2022 Performs material and finished goods audits daily.

\u2022 Prepares loads and bills of lading to ship daily.

\u2022 Distributes inbound overnight packages daily.

\u2022 Prepares outbound overnight packages daily.

\u2022 Participates in quarterly plant physical inventories.

\u2022 Locates and retrieves material, finished goods, ER per the help desk daily.

\u2022 Unloads and loads delivery truck.

\u2022 Operates stand-up reach and sit-down forklift.

\u2022 Operates manual and electric pallet jacks.

\u2022 Drives company vehicles between warehouse and production plant when needed.

\u2022 Performs other job duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:

\u2022 Must have 6 months to 1 year of experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving and forklift operation.

\u2022 Possess a valid Texas driver's license.

\u2022 Able to pass insurance screening to drive company vehicle.

\u2022 Must be able to successfully pass forklift test and certification process.

\u2022 Basic computer skills, including knowledge of email and word processing.

\u2022 An understanding of computer inventory systems is preferred.

\u2022 Must be able to maintain good attendance.

\u2022 Willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.

\u2022 Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
