Pool Bartender

Job Summary Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is seeking a Bartender to prepare and serve beverages to guests, ensuring compliance with state and local alcohol service laws. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean bar area, processing payments, taking inventory, and delivering prompt, friendly service. Shift Graveyard Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old. Alcohol Awareness Card required. Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor brands offered. Know ingredients, garnishes, and proper glassware for cocktails and specialty drinks. Continuously monitor guests for signs of intoxication. Physical ability to bend, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs on a continuous schedule. Physical ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods and work in confined spaces, awkward positions, and overhead reaches. Manual dexterity to use a corkscrew, knives, and ice scoop. Appearance & Grooming All team members must adhere to grooming standards: no visible tattoos or piercings and no unnatural hair or nail colors. Responsibilities Greet and communicate with all guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Provide prompt, expedient, and courteous service to all guests at all times. Smile and show genuine interest in guests’ needs and questions. Receive and repeat beverage orders accurately. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor brands offered. Know ingredients and garnishes for commonly requested cocktails and specialty drinks, along with proper glassware and current prices. Mix drinks properly, set for presentation, and serve all requested alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages. Enforce all alcoholic beverage laws, policies, and regulations. Circulate through the assigned bar area continuously to provide superior guest service. Contact the Beverage Manager/Supervisor on duty for any guest‑related issues if unable to resolve. Maintain a clean and safe work environment free of dirty glassware, ashtrays, beer bottles, and other trash. Abide by established health, safety, and continual side‑work duties. Work as a team member with willingness and ability. Increase revenue through suggestive selling. Decrease expenses through proper product handling. Perform other duties as assigned. Work Conditions & Physical Demands Stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
