Location: Star, NC
Compensation: $95,000 – $105,000 + vehicle + per diem + full benefits

Overview

A commercial contractor with a strong pipeline of design-build work is looking to bring on a Superintendent to run projects along the North Carolina coast. This is a field-driven role where you will be responsible for managing jobs from start to finish, with a strong focus on schedule, subcontractor coordination, and job site execution.

The company has a niche in fire department construction and continues to expand across coastal markets, providing steady backlog and consistent project flow.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects
Manage subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics
Ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards
Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance on-site
Coordinate with Project Managers and internal teams
Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
Proven ability to run projects independently
Strong understanding of scheduling, subcontractor management, and field execution
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Willingness to travel to project sites across coastal North Carolina
