Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical TelemetryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. This unit provides specialized care for surgical patients, including those undergoing joint replacements and general surgery. The RN will work in a dynamic environment, supporting patients across a wide age range, from adolescents to elderly individuals.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality care to patients requiring telemetry and surgical interventions.Collaborate effectively within a modified team model, working alongside an LPN and PCT to manage patient care.Utilize wall suction equipment for patients as needed, particularly those with small bowel obstructions.Ensure compliance with protocols and standards, including ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.QualificationsCurrent RN licensure.Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a medical/surgical or telemetry setting.Previous charge experience is preferred but not mandatory.Experience with surgical patients is highly valued.Ability to work at least every other weekend or a total of four weekend shifts per month.Must be willing to float to other medical/surgical units as required.Additional InformationShifts available: Night shift, 4x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).Scrub colors: Any combination of navy blue and/or white.This unit welcomes first-time travelers.If you are a passionate RN looking to make a difference in patient care within a supportive team environment, we encourage you to apply.Client Details State NY
