Weekend Part-Time Tutor
Next Level Up, LLC is dedicated to empowering students through personalized academic and skill-building support, fostering growth in both confidence and life success. We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Tutor to provide focused, one-on-one support for students ranging from kindergarten to high school in Colorado Springs.

This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting youth development and are looking to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Individualized Instruction & Support:

• Provide one-on-one tutoring and skill-building sessions to students, reinforcing classroom learning and teaching effective coping and problem-solving skills.

• Tailor lessons and strategies to each student’s unique learning style and developmental needs.

• Guide students toward measurable improvements in academic comprehension, self-confidence, and life skills.

Skill Development:

• Teach effective study habits, time management, and emotional regulation strategies.

• Encourage problem-solving, critical thinking, and independent learning.

• Implement strategies that increase student engagement and persistence.

Progress Monitoring:

• Track student progress through clear documentation and periodic assessments.

• Provide meaningful feedback and communicate updates to parents/guardians when appropriate.

• Maintain accurate records for billing and compliance purposes.

Supportive Environment:

• Create a positive, encouraging learning atmosphere that motivates students.

• Address academic or behavioral challenges with patience and consistency.

• Foster an environment where students feel supported in achieving their goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, completion of Qualified Behavioral Health Assistant (QBHA) certification, or Master's degree required.

• Must be able to bill under H2014.

• Experience working with children or adolescents (tutoring, mentoring, teaching, or behavioral health support).

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to adapt approaches to meet individual student needs..
