Cone PackerThe Cone Packer is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of cones in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesMonitoring cone qualityConducting row countsFeeding cones onto a moving conveyor (packaging cones as stated in the packing procedures and is documented in the specific Machine/Oven/Line Ledger)Making, sealing, and stacking cases on to palletsMonitoring Jacket and Syrup DispenserSorting and stacking rows of cones onto cooling racksHand packing over wrapped cones into casesMonitoring Critical Control Points (CCP) and recording checks as directedConducting machine/quality/finished product checks and recording checks as well as any issues revealed by the checksOther duties as assigned by supervisorEssential FunctionsAble to read, understand, and strictly follow written proceduresGood understanding of and strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Policies (GMP)Must be able to detect audible tones and alarmsMust be able to distinguish and sort by colorMust be able to work rotating shiftsMust be organized and maintain work area to a high level of cleanlinessAble to identify areas that need attention and either address or report as necessaryMust be able to speak, listen, and effectively communicate with team membersFollow direction and perform assigned work duties independently with minimal supervisionAdherence to the company attendance policy is required, including expectations of punctuality and limited unapproved absenceThis position involves regular bending, stooping, twisting, and liftingRequired to stand on their feet and/ or walk up to 12 hours per dayMust be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds, climb, reach and regularly use stairsQualificationsMust have demonstrated a good work record and attendancePay RangeUSD $24.38 - USD $24.38 /Hr.
