Job Details Job Location: SOUTHEAST DETOX LLC - ROME, GA 30165 Southeast Detox is seeking Part Time Night Shift LPNs for a Residential Detox Facility in Rome, GA. HIRING ASAP! Preferred but not required experience in the Behavioral Health field including Addiction/Substance Abuse/Mental Health experience. Website: Specific Areas of Responsibility Completes the following documentation within 24 hours of the patient’s admission to the program Admission Note Nursing Assessment Pre-Screen Testing HRS Consent Form Patient Health Examination Criteria for Admission Form (if Detox admit) Transcribes Physician’s Orders and Implement all Medical Protocols as ordered Administers medications and monitor detoxification process Confers with and assist the Medical Director Makes appropriate referrals using referral forms Attends and participates in all "in-service" functions Assists with emergency situations and make immediate referrals Provides documentation which reflects services for each patient in accordance with licensure standards Maintains the Confidential nature of all patients and facility activities Maintains required Training & Continuing Education Maintains Standards of Ethical Conduct Meets with patients requesting to see the doctor to determine the urgency of their medical needs and expedite treatment as required Effectively communicates concerns about patient health to the Medical Director and follows up as necessary Under the supervision of the Medical Director assists in educating patients about health problems and medical care Facilitates medication education for new patients and for all other patients starting new medications Meets with therapists to provide information about patient medical problems Assists the treatment team in incorporating medical issues into treatment planning Accommodate utilization review needs when additional information is necessary to provide further authorization to insurance carriers, this may be accomplished by scheduling clients to be evaluated by the Physician’s Assistant or Medical Director simply by communicating directly with a care manager Scheduling routine laboratory examinations or those ordered by the Medical Director Takes verbal orders from the Medical Director, documents them in the patient record and carries them out accurately and professionally Provides routine nursing care under the supervision of the Medical Director Participate in regular meetings with Clinical Director to discuss specific patient problems Facilitate Medical Groups as directed by Medical Director Participate in regular department meetings and staff meetings Encourage efficient utilization of supplies and equipment to prevent waste Maintains effective communication between outside medical services and the facility Keeps and shares records and equipment Interacts with clients with compassion and respect Attends in-service education programs as assigned to learn new forms, procedures, developmental skills, etc. Has good work habits: get things done in a timely, efficient manner with no excessive absences; is on time for scheduled shifts and prepared to begin work Functions well as a team member and contribute positively to the morale of staff Performs additional duties, as deemed necessary by supervisor Maintains up-to-date training in CPR, First Aid, Crisis Intervention, Infection Control, Fire Safety, and other areas mandated by organizational policies Communicates effectively with other staff members and demonstrates the ability to work as a team member Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability, responding positively to changing situations in the work setting Demonstrates objectivity and maturity under stress Accepts and utilizes supervision Addresses problems noted by supervisor Performs other assignments as requested by supervisor Demonstrates willingness to accept responsibility Completes all tasks with concern for work quality Schedule Rotating schedule Benefits Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Medical Specialty Addiction Medicine Work Location In person Qualifications Preferred but not required experience in the Behavioral Health field including Addiction/Substance Abuse/Mental Health experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
