Summary of Job Duties

Responsible for administering, simulating and recording radiation treatment set-ups to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist. Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Operations Director; responsible for radiation therapy procedures, dose calculations, chart and routine consistency checks on the treatment machine and simulator during a treatment day, five days a week. Incumbent is subject to overtime and call back as required by the center.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or Associates degree in Radiation Therapy and two years experience in health care environment. Current registration as a radiation therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Current Licensure as a Radiation Therapist with the Arkansas Department of Health. Current certification in Basic CPR.
