TravelNurseSource is working with Pioneer Healthcare Services to find a qualified Pediatrics RN in Gilbert, Arizona, 85234!

If you want to make a significant impact as a Registered Nurse - Pediatric Progressive Care Unit (PPCU) in GILBERT, AZ this position might be what you are looking for!

Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of pediatric growth, development, and age-specific care needs.
• Ability to assess and respond to pediatric emergencies, including respiratory distress and sepsis.
• Provide specialized intermediate-level care to pediatric patients who are too critical for a general pediatric unit but do not require intensive care.
• Assist with post-surgical recovery, respiratory distress management, cardiac monitoring, and chronic illness care.

Qualifications:

• AZ Registered Nurse license
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
• Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) preferred
• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN-Pediatric) certification preferred
• BLS Certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
