Seven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Postpartum care for a 13-week travel contract in Austin, TX. This is an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment at a well-equipped 97-bed postpartum unit, catering to a significant birth volume and engaging with a diverse team.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Postpartum

• Oversee care for postpartum mothers and their newborns, ensuring safety and comfort
• Maintain a 1:4 couplet care ratio within the unit
• Conduct non-stress tests, and manage cases involving hyperemesis and insulin drips
• Administer magnesium and heparin drips as per medical protocols

Requirements of the RN - Postpartum

• Current BLS certification
• Experience or training in Labor/Delivery or Antepartum is preferred
• NRP Advanced Provider certification is required
