Sanitation Worker

Role Overview Responsible for unloading trucks, breaking down pallets, and organizing products within the warehouse. Assists with sanitation, inventory control, and may handle fueling, washing, or cleaning semi-trucks/trailers. Supports various warehouse tasks including product checking, order selection, palletizing, and labeling to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment. Key Responsibilities Unload products from trucks and organize items onto pallets and warehouse racks. Handle cases, boxes, and pallets of groceries, produce, meats, and other products, moving them safely and efficiently. Assist with sanitation duties and truck maintenance tasks. Verify product accuracy, check for damage, and assist with order picking and packing. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and ensure safety protocols are followed. Report damaged products, low stock, and safety issues; participate in product rotation and other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in warehouse operations and equipment operation preferred. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., work in multi-temperature environments, and perform physical tasks. Strong communication, reading, writing, and arithmetic skills. Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and adapt to changing work demands. Commitment to safety, punctuality, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Physical & Work Environment Must frequently stand, walk, crouch, and lift heavy items.
