Anesthesiologist Opportunity

Anesthesiologist opportunity with Chestnut Hill Hospital in a vibrant Philadelphia neighborhood that's considered a top U.S. urban enclave.

Located in a prominent neighborhood of Philadelphia, Chestnut Hill Hospital provides both inpatient and outpatient diagnostic and treatment services. Chestnut Hill Hospital is a part of Tower Health Network. The facility has 148 beds, 300 physicians and healthcare professionals, two women's centers, an offsite physical therapy center, and primary care practices.

Case assignments include dialysis access, podiatry, general abdominal, GYN, and more. Shifts include 8's, 12's, and 24's. No in-house call. Beeper call (90/year).

Team leadership includes Edo Ginsburg, MD.

Responsibilities include assisting in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department, responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures. Pre-anesthesia assessment, obtaining and/or verifying patient consent, discussing anesthetic options and risks with the patient, induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia, monitoring of the patient's physiological condition, and performance of clinical intervention as needed.

Requirements include an M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine, ECFMG and FLEX completion, completion of an approved residency in anesthesia, and currently being licensed as a physician.
